Lord Rogers was born in Florence, Italy, and studied architecture in London and at Yale University. His trademark fluid style is as international as his education, and reflects his passion for technology and innovation.

Among his many landmark projects are the design of London's financial heart, Canary Wharf Riverside South, the Antwerp Law Courts in Belgium, the award-winning Welsh Parliament building in Cardiff and the renovation of Barcelona's historic Las Arenas bullring into a leisure centre.

Rogers also designed the massive Madrid Barajas airport which opened Feb 2006, and is currently working on Heathrow Terminal Five and Maggie's Cancer Centre in Charing Cross one of the beneficiaries of Born To Rockô.
