Photographer and director David LaChapelle is noted for his surreal, bizarre and often humorous style in the fields of fashion, advertising, and fine art photography, David Lachapelle was offered his first professional job by Andy Warhol shooting for Interview magazine upon arriving in New York. Recently ranked among the top ten Most Important People in Photography in the world by American Photo, he has won many awards with his images appearing on and in the likes of Italian Vogue, Vanity Fair, Rolling Stone, i-D, and many more. LaChapelle has also done numerous high profile advertising campaigns, album covers, directed award winning music videos and a documentary, and recently added stage director to his list of credits with the concept and design of Elton John's ‘The Red Piano' show at Caesar's Coliseum in Las Vegas.
