Theo Fennell is probably Britain’s best known jewellery and silver designer. After studying art at York and then in London, he went to work with the great silversmiths, Edward Barnard & Sons, his only formal job. He started up his workshops in the 70’s where he began experimenting with jewellery then established his current business in 1982 with a small shop in the Fulham Road before moving to the specially designed flagship store just doors away in 1996. Fennell’s style is inspired by the ancient and classic as well as the new and revolutionary; he uses both the most traditional skills and the most cutting edge techniques to create pieces of stunning beauty. Apart from the main store there are now shops across the U.K as well as concessions outside London and then outside the U.K. outlets as far apart as The Maldives and Moscow to Barbados and Dubai.
